96 Festival is back by popular demand! A glittering line-up of artists will set up camp at Omnibus Theatre for a spectacular celebration of queerness and theatre.

An extravaganza of theatre, comedy, cabaret, music, art and activism; now in its 10th year, 96 Festival has been conceived in remembrance and celebration of the iconic Pride party on Clapham Common in 1996.

TRANS PERFORMATIVITY

TransPerformativity” is an ongoing project that consists in the transposition of trans experiences into contemporary practices that fuse audiovisuals and the creation of collective performances.

Trans*Performativity” is an innovative project, designed by trans people for everyone, which promises to diversify and decolonise the artistic and cultural field, with the inherent support of the artistic and technical team, partner entities and the audience.

LIFE LEARNINGS OF A NON SENSICAL HUMAN

This is an ode to friendship, queerness and raving. To the kindness of strangers, the heart-break of loss, and finding joy again amidst grief. This is a love letter to the people we meet along the way, and the sticky floors we have danced on all these years.

Queer-led and involving a range of community groups, Dysbiosis weaves together diverse creative practices, perspectives and voices to unearth some of the tangled connections between queerness, nature, place and environmental justice.

The untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Emmy, Grammy and Tony winning powerhouse Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Color Purple) as Elphaba, a young woman, misunderstood because of her unusual green skin, who has yet to discover her true power, and Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and global superstar Ariana Grande as Glinda, a popular young woman, gilded by privilege and ambition, who has yet to discover her true heart.

Following the story of three folkloric heroes from Eastern Europe, Places I Never Think About is a queer reclamation of myth inspired by experience of migration & belonging.

The show takes the audience through three fantastical journeys told through live music, polyphonic singing, puppetry & dance.
