LGBT+ Playwriting Workshop

Are you an LGBT+ playwright, or wanting to write LGBT+ characters, but unsure where to start? Whether you are at the beginnings of an idea, or stuck halfway through your script, this workshop will support you in the next steps of your project. With space to explore plot, character and structure and time to do some actual writing and hear your words read back; our aim is for you to leave feeling ready to crack on and get your play out in to the world. Led by Amie Taylor, Editor of The LGBTQ Arts Review.

Zine Making Workshop

If you’ve ever wanted to learnt the art of Zine Making, then this is the workshop for you. We will start by taking a look at queer activism and queer publications through the ages, with space for participants to share their own experiences and knowledge of queer activism too. Using this as a foundation we will go on to create our own activist zines for 2020 using inks, collage, text, poetry, pastels and paint. Prior to the end of the session your Zine will be scanned and emailed to you so you can print more copies in the future. Led by Amie Taylor, Editor of The LGBTQ Arts Review.

Sun 14 (Zine Making Workshop) + Sun 21 June (Writing Workshop)
11am - 4pm
£10 standard
