It’s Friday night and the streets of Soho are overflowing.
Lucky for some.
Far from the city lights, best friends David and Jordan find themselves in a much quieter, much more mundane, small-town pub. If it wasn’t for visiting Toby, who’s taking a break from city life, their Friday night would look a lot different.
Fruit machines whir, warm ales sit patient and the TV murmurs away. Is this all they left behind in pursuit of the big city?
In an attempt to bridge across the void, a curious local is invited to join the table, and soon becomes infatuated by them. The night turns from peaceful to increasingly agitating, as the group are forced to address their own acceptance at the hand of a fragile, prying enigma, who struggles to balance his ulterior motives with his emotions.
One thing’s for certain: after tonight, their friendship will never be the same again.
