RUMAH will be picking three artists who will have a chance to present their ideas in front of a live audience. Stay tuned for more updates.
Main-Main means ‘Playing’ in the Malay language. RUMAH wants to encourage artists to use this platform to play, something that artists often neglect even during the pandemic. There’s always that pressure to not make mistakes and present a finish but rushed ‘product’. Even while playing, RUMAH believes in taking a supportive approach, making sure all artists are supported throughout the process.

RUMAH is a platform that aims to bring the Asian diaspora communities together, Big Up one another and reflect the true representation of Asian in Britain today. RUMAH is founded by Khai, an independent creative producer, originally from Singapore and currently based in London. When she’s not holding up space for the other Asian diasporas, she works as an independent producer where she makes big ideas work on shoestring budgets.
This performance will take place with a live audience at Omnibus Theatre.
