Mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean and pianist Keval Shah present a programme of art song from around the world, examining a woman’s journey from innocence to experience. This collection of intimate and beloved song cycles explore the musically varied art song traditions of Germany, France, Spain and Scandinavia spanning well over a century.
Keval and Lotte are both graduates of the Royal Academy of Music and their recital schedules have taken them across the UK, Europe and Australia, including the Cheltenham, Buxton, Aldeburgh, Edinburgh Fringe, Oxford Lieder and Leeds Lieder Festivals. Keval is a Britten Pears Young Artist and an Oxford Lieder Young Artist, and Lotte is a City Music Foundation Artist and Associate Artist with Southbank Sinfonia.
