Flying Solo: A Scratch Night of Female Solo Performances

Presented by Anna Hulm
Join us for an informal scratch night of female solo performances, filled with engaging new writing and works in progress!

Anna Hulm is proud to present the first performance of her new scratch night series, ‘Flying Solo’. This evening will have four solo performances all written and performed by talented female theatre-makers. Be prepared for a night of new writing and works in-progress. Warning: getting teary-eyed and laughing out loud is extremely likely!

Anna is an actor and creative producer, having graduated with a first-class Acting degree at the University of Chichester and currently completing the MA in Creative Producing at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Her work mostly focuses on community-based, feminist and queer theatre, with her passion in making theatre more accessible to anyone and everyone.

As the pandemic has hit the theatre industry more than ever, Anna wanted to create a space where emerging artists can explore their work and have the opportunity to put their ideas in front of an audience. Anna plans to make ‘Flying Solo’ a regular series, allowing more female and non-binary voices to be seen on the stage!

We have the following women presenting their fabulous solo pieces on Saturday 12th March:  Victoria Mazeris, Nickey van Tooren, Kayleigh Hunt and Holly Spillar

Be sure to check out @theatrical_anna for the latest ‘Flying Solo’ updates!

If you would be interested in submitting your work for future ‘Flying Solo’ scratch nights, or get involved in any way – please get in touch!

This performance will take place with a live audience at Omnibus Theatre.

We are so excited to welcome you back through our doors.
