BUILD-A-ZINE

PRESENTED BY STATE OF THE [ART]
Part of HOW TO ENJOY [THE CITY]

As part of the JUICE’s take-over, join us for BUILD-A-ZINE led by zine master and Juice co-founder and Art Director Raeesah Patel. What is a Zine you may ask? Think scrapbooking but on a whole new level; cutting, sticking and getting stuck in. You’ll be exploring the topics of health and well-being and everyone will leave with their own personalised zine!

Raeesah Patel is a graphic designer, currently communications and marketing assistant at Lancashire BME Network, an organisation that ensures marginalised communities are able to access multiple opportunities. She has worked on various projects, most recently; created branding for SafeLives on a project titled Your Best Friend which aims to support and help identify young women and girls who are experiencing abuse in relationships. She also recently delivered a zine-making workshop for EmpoweHER to explore creativity for their final project which explored body positivity. Her role as Art Director at Juice Magazine, involves overseeing all design and branding aspects. This includes the development of all print issues and social media.

This event will take place live at Omnibus Theatre.

We are so excited to welcome you back through our doors.

We are committed to safely staging a programme of work while we are able. We understand that booking tickets for live events right now feels like a bit of a gamble.

We want to assure you that should anything change before your event, prohibiting it from taking place, we will contact you and you will be eligible for an immediate refund.

To provide a safe and enjoyable environment we have made some changes, these measures will continue after 19 July. Please check out our Covid-19 Safety FAQs for full information on what to expect and how to prepare for your visit.
