LIVE STREAM AND Q&A

HYBRID RESIDENCY ARTIST: JEMIMA YONG
Part of Get On The Internet!

Jemima will be working with her long time collaborator Alan Fielden and her first time collaborator, half-pomeranian-quarter-pug-quarter-chihuahua mortal deity, Juniper. This is the 100% beginning of a project that may happen in the future. The starting points of the day are human / dog ways of knowing and belief systems. The day will be live streamed so as to mimic an open studio environment through the internet with moments of performance to camera.

Jemima is a multidisciplinary performance maker and photographer. Uninterested in creating anything she can imagine on her own, Jemima works exclusively in collaboration with others. Conversation, improvisation, play and experimentation are tenets of her practice which is process-driven, slow and porous.

Recent work include Marathon with JAMS (Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award 2018), ROOM with Room Collective and photo chronicle Field.
