We’re excited to partner with Creation Theatre for this captivating LIVE online show, where audiences can enjoy a (virtual!) journey to the Emerald City, along with Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion.
Creation Theatre takes the anarchic spirit and style of their traditional family shows online, reuniting the team behind many of its Christmas hits including The Snow Queen, Peter Pan and A Christmas Carol.
Back in March, the organisation quickly became masters of Zoom and digital theatre wizardry, so with the help of fantastical virtual backgrounds, innovative props and stunning costumes this will be a joyous festive family occasion.
You can book onto the same show as someone you know and you’ll be able to spot them on screen in the audience. For the first time you’ll be able join the same audience on Christmas Eve as your auntie in Australia or the cousins in Canada. This year we’re choosing to fill your homes with festive cheer.
Director and adaptor Gari Jones and costume and set designer Ryan Dawson Laight will recreate a magical tale and a visual feast with an eight-strong cast. Creation Theatre shows are anarchic, unexpected, fun, lively, quirky, fast and definitely not like any version you’ve seen before.
