Sunday 26th July: Reiss Ellis Beckles Group
Meet Reiss Ellis Beckles: saxophonist, composer, and educator. Reiss epitomizes versatility and diversity, seamlessly traversing genres from jazz to pop to hip hop with finesse and flair.
A graduate of Trinity Laban Conservatoire, he honed his craft in jazz performance and composition, earning a degree that served as a springboard for his development in the music world.
Seeking further musical enlightenment, he spent three years in New York, studying at the Aaron Copland School Of Music, Queens College, attaining his Masters in Jazz Performance under the mentorship of luminaries such as Antonio Hart, Jeb Patton, and David Berkman, among others.
In 2024 he released his debut record, Worlds Apart, playing to sold out shows across the UK.
Reiss has graced stages alongside a constellation of stars, including Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa, Jessie J, and Robin Thicke, while sharing musical wisdom with legends like Jimmy Heath and John Faddis.
From the intimate ambiance of Smalls Jazz Club NYC to the iconic stages of Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Reiss's performances have captivated audiences worldwide.
