What does community mean? Where do we find it, build it and hold onto it when things get difficult?
Created by the Young Performance Company using interviews with the group itself, Clipped is an original, verbatim theatre production that weaves together a series of interconnected stories exploring friendship, belonging and the unexpected ways people connect.
Dive into the lives of friends creating a podcast, an underground fight club where romance unexpectedly blooms, a museum in which history is constantly being rewritten and a concert where the crowd can provide connection or threaten to overwhelm you completely.
Funny, moving and inventive, Clipped celebrates the communities we inherit, the ones we create and the people who help us find where we belong. Developed collaboratively by performers aged 14–18 over the last few months, this ambitious production showcases the creativity, insight and imagination of a new generation of theatre-makers.
