Between clearing plates and working on her set, stand-up comic Dolly’s never thought much about the criminal justice system. Until one night she is attacked and places her trust in the system to catch the man who did it.
But Dolly is playing to a tough crowd. No one is listening. Seems the system doesn’t think much about her either.
Weaving fiction with fact, this gripping and uncompromising new play blends razor-sharp comedy with devastating truth.

As well as her celebrated performance in Sap (Soho Theatre/Paines Plough Roundabout - 2022 Stage award for Acting Excellence), and her critically acclaimed role in Evening Standard award-winning, Olivier-nominated The Swell (Orange Tree Theatre), Jessica is best known for the Olivier-winning Rotterdam (Trafalgar Studios/Theatre503), Wife of Willesden (Kiln Theatre), and on screen leading roles in Versailles and Marie Antoinette for BBC/Canal+ and Call the Midwife, Death in Paradise for BBC
