OOTW2026: MURDER WITH MALICE
On July 24, 1973, Dallas officer Darrell Cain killed 12-year-old Santos Rodriguez during interrogation over an $8 burglary, playing Russian roulette before shooting him. The killing sparked mass protests and became a symbol of police brutality. Teatro Dallas commissioned Murder with Malice (originally Santos), translated by Carlos Morton, premiering in 1993.

Locked in a filthy flat during a global pandemic, Berenice, a famous but broken actress, refuses to perform her nightly digital show.
