Rising star saxophonists Tom Barford and Alex Hitchcock form a tough/tender tenor that links back to Rollins/Coltrane, or Young/Hawkins. They are joined by a powerful rhythm section of bassist Ferg Ireland and drummer James Maddren. Tom Barford was the recipient of the 2017 Kenny Wheeler Prize.
