A day-long workshop for aspiring drag kings, things, and prinxes, with an optional public showcase performance slot.

For anyone who’s been to a drag king show and thought “I’d love to try that”- now’s your chance to get creative and get on stage!

This workshop will cover: exploring masculinity and physicality, finding your character, experimenting with makeup, packing and binding, and creating an act with options to try out performing lip-syncing, singing, dancing, stripping, comedy or spoken word.

A team of established drag-daddies will be on hand throughout to mentor and help you create something shiny and new. No experience necessary, but enthusiasm essential!

Workshop includes entry to the evening’s performance night, with the option to perform or watch, depending on your preference.
