MESS MAKER

PRESENTED BY JENETTE MEEHAN
Have you ever gotten home from somewhere and felt like peeling your face off? Me too. It’s okay, you can leave yours in the basket by the door.

The Mess Maker is constantly trying to tidy, to sort out her life but when unexpected guests arrive, she has no choice but to welcome them in. As she tries to control – or clean rather, the Mess Maker reconnects with her inner child, and finds meaning among the mess in a joyful – if sometimes chaotic, exploration of imagination and identity.

Written and Performed by Jenette Meehan (Run to the Nuns) this solo-show attempts to unpack shame and perfectionism, as she navigates life in a society with a very different definition of worth.
