In the North of the City, Princess Lila has a huge dilemma; she has many splendid and hilarious jokes which she has practiced to perfection, but everyone in the palace is either too busy or too serious to laugh at them. In desperation she sets off into the vast city to see if there is anyone out there who loves jokes as much as she does.
In the South of the city, Princess Josephine is awaiting someone who will make her laugh. When these two princesses collide it is almost as though they have found all they ever searched for.
Expect puppetry, shadow play and hilarious jokes, as well as fairies, cheese shops and evil villains in this contemporary twist on the traditional fairytale.
This is an interactive storytelling experience, with plenty of opportunity for the children to get involved, by offering suggestions and ideas regularly throughout the performance.
