SORRY (I BROKE YOUR ARMS AND LEGS)

PRESENTED BY MAYBE YOU LIKE IT
Sam’s obviously the correct choice for Head Boy. He’s got the PowerPoint to prove it. And he’s not above violence…

On the first day of Year 8, Sam Wilson (Class 8C) discovers something dark: there may be others besides him in the running for Head Boy. With the future of uniform standards at stake, one Pleasure-To-Have-In-Class has just five days and a collection of PowerPoint transition effects to destroy the opposition and claim his throne. But amidst musical auditions, playground football, and overwrought machiavellian scheming, the road to Head Boy will certainly be no Geography with Mr Baker (Geography with Mr Baker is massively easy). And that’s saying nothing of figuring out how, or crucially why, to talk to a girl at the disco on Thursday.

As the race intensifies, will Sam cause another boy grievous bodily harm? See title.

Sorry (I Broke Your Arms And Legs) is a riotous debut PowerPoint presentation from James Akka (Thanks A Lot, Milton Jones!), combining all the thrills of World Book Day with the hilarity of the Maths Olympiad. Don’t be late!

Maybe You Like It creates high-energy comedy stage shows that aim to entertain and engage audiences with funny stories told well. Sorry (I Broke Your Arms and Legs) is Maybe You Like It’s third Edinburgh Fringe show with previous work being praised for its “imagination, wit, and mountain of metatheatrical humour.” – The Scotsman
