Festive Light Ride! by Arushi Treanor

Our local theatre, Omnibus in Clapham organised a Festive Light Ride for about eighty people around Lambeth. It was a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to get on their bikes for some festive fun around some fabulous landmarks, safely escorted by Cycle Confident marshals.

It was lovely, and as I said, the team did their best to make sure we were all safe. I went with some friends and my family, who were all very excited and at the front of the trail all the time.

There were lots of shows along the way to see, such as a magic show where the man could control a ball, he even made it hover above his hand! I’m so delighted that mummy and daddy booked us there! We even got to see a man eat fire!

Omnibus are so amazing, you should definitely book something there. We have been lucky enough to see some great shows – one about recycling, one about Einstein. My youngest brother went to see the Nutcracker – we have been to see authors talk about their books and even drawn the common with local artist. There is so much stuff you can do there but that’s another story. Did you know Omnibus were so kind they even gave each child a cuddly toy after out bike ride!
