Sunday 21 April at 7:30pm: Vincere

Marco Belocchio’s telling of the extraordinary story of Benito Mussolini’s secret mistress and her struggle for recognition. A tragic, timeless tale about a spirited woman’s stubborn devotion to a self-serving man. 

Sunday 19 May at 7:30pm: Little Men (US 2016)

Indie Director Ira Sachs has created a low key drama which focuses on a relationship between two boys whose families live in the same building in a rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn – a work of subtle charm and exceptional psychological impact.

Sunday 2nd June at 7:30pm: Le Havre

Fate throws the young African refugee into the path of a kindly old bohemian who shines shoes for a living in the Le Havre. He stands up to the officials doggedly pursuing the boy for deportation. A charming, deadpan delight and one Kaurismaki’s finest films.
