Ellis and Nate are a couple living together in their late 20’s who’ve grown up too fast. They’ll ditch a night out for Netlix and a posh dinner for Hello Fresh. When someone from Ellis’ past moves in next door, everything they thought they cherished about their relationship turns upside down. After a drunken threesome, old wounds raise to the surface and Ellis must decide whether to indulge in past fantasies or accept the comforting/restrictive relationship he faces with Nate. It’s a play that examines the truths we tell ourselves in a society that fetishizes self-improvement and black and white thinking.
