KATIE BONNA WRITING WORKSHOP

PRESENTED BY LYNNE MCCONWAY PRODUCTIONS AND MINTY FRESH PRODUCTIONS
A free workshop for LGBTQ+ writers looking at writing inspired by personal experience.

Putting the personal on stage.

In this workshop we will talk frankly about the positives and negatives of writing from personal experience. We’ll take a practical look at how to find compelling dramatic and universal narratives and work together to devise self-care plans for approaching this kind of work.

Katie Bonna’s autobiographical show about her relationship with her estranged father, All The Things I Lied About, won the Off West End Award for Most Promising New Playwright in 2018. Her first play Dirty Great Love Story (co-written with Richard Marsh) won a Scotsman Fringe First and transferred to the West End in 2017.

Supported by Arts Council England

This workshop will take place via Zoom, an invite link will be emailed to you 1 day prior to the event. Spots are limited so book now!
