SONGS FOR SCATTERED TIMES

PRESENTED BY SCATTER
DIRECTED AND PRODUCED BY BEE TAYLOR AND FINLAY CARROLL
A musical theatre cabaret exploring queerness and climate change. Young performers turn to LGBTQ+ theatre history to find new paths through a world-in-crisis.

Songs For Scattered Times is an experimental and entertaining cabaret fusing the worlds of musical theatre and climate activism. It celebrates the unique ability of queer musical theatre artists past and present to address moments of change with meaningful work.

Scatter is an ecological musical theatre collective. We use songs and stories to help communities weather the effects of the climate crisis. In this event, we share the questions that keep us up at night.

What is the role of musical theatre in addressing the climate and ecological crisis? How does the queer experience relate to processing climate change? And where might we find empowerment and action?

We want to help break down barriers to inclusion where we can. Drop an email to access@scattercollective.co.uk if you have questions about the event.
