Imagine a spoken word night, but with a twist. Whether you’re a poet and you know it or you just fancy giving it a bash, our blind folded audience gives you an alternative performing experience to try out new work.
This evening will be hosted by the wonderful Iftikhar Latif who will be there to guide you through the evening. Iftikhar is a writer and spoken-word artist of British-Bangladeshi descent. He released his debut collection of short stories and poems, titled losers, in August 2019. His work often refers to the British Asian experience, deconstructions of masculinity and addiction/isolation. Iftikhar is also founder and co-host for Off The Chest – a spoken word, poetry and open mic night. It’s clear you’re in safe creative hands, so get that pen to the paper, typing on those screens or blow the cobwebs off your bars and let’s come together.
This event will take place live at Omnibus Theatre.
