MIDSUMMER'S DREAM: BIKE RIDE 2021

PRESENTED BY OMNIBUS THEATRE
Clapham’s most magical event of the year is back! Don your helmets and join us for the 4th year of our popular bike ride.

Enter a dreamlike world where the ordinary appears extraordinary. On our family friendly, adapted cycle accessible route you will see the Common come alive with live music, characters, and installations. Expect jaw dropping cameos from stilt walkers and trick cyclists, magical soundscapes, and a very cheeky animatronic puppet.

Starting on The Polygon outside Omnibus Theatre and ending with a dance party in Larkhall Park, Midsummer’s Dream: Bike Ride 2021 is a silly and spell-binding must-see for all ages. Directed by Omnibus Theatre’s Artistic Director Marie McCarthy (The Little Prince, 2019) and inspired by William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

This unique outdoor event is the perfect way to start the summer safely with your local theatre, boost cycling confidence and is completely accessible to those who use non-standard bikes.

Midsummer’s Dream: Bike Ride 2021 is presented by Omnibus Theatre in partnership with Wheels for Wellbeing, who have ensured the ride is fully inclusive. Supported by The April Trust.

This is an outdoor event starting outside Omnibus Theatre.

We are committed to safely staging a small, but perfectly formed, programme of work while we are able. We understand that booking tickets for live events right now feels like a bit of a gamble.

We want to assure you that should Government guidance change before your event, prohibiting it from taking place, we will contact you and offer an immediate refund.

To keep you safe, we have new measures in line with Covid-19 guidelines. Please check out our Covid-19 Safety FAQs for full information on what to expect and how to prepare for your visit.
