96 Festival is back by popular demand! A glittering line-up of artists will set up camp at Omnibus Theatre for a spectacular celebration of queerness and theatre.

A no holds barred extravaganza of theatre, comedy, cabaret, music, art and activism; 96 Festival has been conceived in remembrance and celebration of the iconic Pride party on Clapham a Common in 1996.

This year’s artists include; Elf Lyons, award-winning comedian and raconteur, VAULT Festival hit show, V&V, plus theatre-makers Jenifer Toksvig, Monica Gaga, Beth Watson and Alice D’Lumiere.

SHUTTERS: A LESBIAN ROCK OPERA

Shutters follows the career of Saving Liz – an idealistic Punk Rocker who sets out to ‘change the world’ through music. But Saving Liz can’t seem to give the record producers what they want and risks becoming a shelved has-been.

Award winning comedian and raconteur Elf Lyons invites you for an hour of revelry, raconteuring and comedy your great-grandad would consider ‘indecent’ for a lady to listen to.

Fun, female, fearless and completely improvised. A supHer group of London’s hottest queer improv talent. Prepare for a completely unscripted night of laughs, laments and liberation.

THE FAIRYTALE LIBRARY

8-9 JUL

Come and have a quiet chat with The Librarian about how stories stay with us and connect us to our everyday lives. A peaceful half hour of considering and reflecting on your favourite fairytale moment.

Sprezzatura Productions’ award-winning queer play featuring the original letters from Virgina Woolf and Vita Sackville-West’s steamy love affair, and the trials and tribulations of modern dating.

An evening of queer nostalgia, solidarity & celebration, filled with cringey crushes, earnest angst & GCSE Art work.

ELF LYONS SWAN

A one woman production of Swan Lake. In an hour. In French. Sort of.

The giraffe-limbed clown and raconteur is delighted to perform her Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated show for one last big hurrah. Think big. Think weird. Matthew Bourne would be proud.

SPEAKING OUT AND FITTING IN!
